Matt is a startup leader with over a decade of operating experience at three unicorns (founding team at Convoy, first 600 at Uber, first 80 at Zulily).  His experience spans across marketplaces, e-commerce, freight & logistics, supply chain, and fintech, with specific expertise in 0-to-1 operations and go-to-market strategy, hiring and team-building, growth programs, and biz dev/ partnerships.

At Convoy, Matt started the supply side of the business and led it through the company’s Series B, helped found the growth team, and incubated and launched the company’s first fintech offerings.  

Matt’s favorite parts of the startup process are the excitement of creating something tangible and valuable from an idea, the friendships formed in the process, and celebrating the small wins during the journey.

Matt was a 1,000 point scorer on the Men’s Varsity Basketball Team at Swarthmore College.  In his free time, Matt loves to travel, play golf and tennis, read, and study Spanish.
